12th November, 2018 is globally celebrated as the Worlds Orphans Day, a day set aside specifically to recognize those who have lost their parents in one condition or the day.

The Founder of Daharatu Mismas Foundation, Hajiya Daharatu Ahmed Aliyu “wish to join millions of well wishers in the world to add our voices to call on those who have what it takes to remember and render necessary assistance to these children as often as possible.

According to her, it is known facts that these set of children particularly those who are still tender in age may have found themselves in the situation they are today not of their own volition.

“Some of them lost their parents to accidents of all kinds; some lost their parents particularly mothers during child birth and others due to sickness. For all these children in either of this category and many others, we share in their pains on a day like this.

“While urging them to take solace in God in their present situations, we pray that God will send help in their directions, while calling on spirited individuals to consider it worthwhile to visit homes where these children are kept to be a source of blessings to them.

“As a Foundation, we will not relent in doing our bits to always put smile on the faces of this children as God will continue to give us the resources to do so.

“May God continue to keep the orphans, bless those who are blessing them and those who are looking after them” she said.
