The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Screening Committee has affirmed the disqualification of 10 aspirants from its primaries scheduled for Monday next week.
The Chairman of the Committee, the former Edo State Governor, Mr John Oyegun gave the affirmation in Abuja on Friday shortly after submitting the Committee Report to the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
According to Mr Oyegun, only 13 out of the 23 aspirants screened were cleared by the Committee.
He however did not reveal the identity of the disqualified aspirants, saying the party will disclose their names in due time.
Mr Oyegun added that contrary to rumours making rounds, it did not screen former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Recall, the Committee held the screening exercise between Monday and Tuesday this week.
