Bishop Isizoh pays pastoral visit to Nneokwa Community, tasks faithful on evangelism

The Catholic Community and the People of Nnokwa in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, recently played host to the Auxiliary Bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Most Reverend Denis Isizoh as he paid a one day pastoral visit to Saint Mary Catholic Church Nnokwa to encourage the work of Evangelism and also to oversee the affairs of the Parish.

The visit attracted Parishioners, friends and people of Nnokwa including the Traditional Ruler of the Community as well as confirmation of over four hundred candidates.

In a homily Bishop Isizoh commended the Nnokwa Community for erecting a befitting place of worship for God emphasizing the need for family prayers which according to him unites the family, calling on parents to raise Godly children.

Bishop Isizoh further charged the parishioners to always recite their Rosary together for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in their endeavours and to read a verse in the bible daily.

The Catholic Prelate, urged those candidates that received the sacrament of confirmation to always embrace Jesus Christ.
