Deeper Life Bible Church offer prayer to end killings and kidnappings …. No nation can move forward without peace-Amb. Arigbabuwo

About thirty-two Group Pastors of Yoruba Deeper Life Bible Church in the North have gathered to offer prayed for peace in all geo-political zones for the end of killings, terrorism, kidnappings and for God to intervene in the economy recession across the country.

The prayers also include wisdom for the leaders to govern well, God to grant the leaders good health, God to avert all the programs and agenda of the insurgents and for God to avert all situation capable of causing breach of peace in the Nation especially in the Northern part of the Nigeria.

The representative of the group, Pastor Joseph Olugbade during their visit to the Place of the Chairman, Council of Yoruba Traditional Obas and Chiefs in the nineteen Northern States and Abuja, Ambassador Mohammed Arigbabuwo offered the prayer in Kaduna on Thursday.

He informed that they were given a mandate from the Overseer of the Church, Pastor William Kumiyi to support the governments through prayer for the era of end time witness in the country.

According to him, “as a Church, we have taken it as responsibility for the current administration to succeed. “We also thank God for the report from Ambassador Arigbabuwo for the quick response of all security personal, for the good rapport from the muslin and Christian brothers and for the mutual understanding and co-existence among us”

“We want to give our support to the government of the country for the role they played for the masses and for the smooth running of the country”.

“We were given the mandate from our Father in the Lord, Rev. William Kumiyi and the Kaduna State Overseer to pray for the happenings in the country because we are in the ear of end time. What we are seeing in the prediction in the bible is happening but the thing that will avert the ugly satiation is prayer and for God to arrest the evil trend.

“We Christians leaders, we are praying and asking the public for unity and oneness as our bible tells us to do as there is nothing like division and segregation”.

Responding, Ambassador Arigbabuwo was of the opinion that the visit of the Group will help him do more for the unity of the people and contribute his quota to the development of the nation.

He appealed to all and sundry to realized that it is only in the atmosphere of peace and that any nation can move forward and called on all to be their brother’s keeper and always talk with one voice and unity of purpose.

“On our own side as traditional leaders, we will do everything thing our reach to see that the people of Yoruba extraction work harmoniously together and respect one another. We shall strive hard to ensure that our people are not left out in the scheme of things anywhere they reside and on this note, l want to say, we cannot achieve our aims of we live at cross-roads.

Ambassador Arigbabuwo expressed dismay at the increase rate of crimes in the country, citing kidnappings and abductions on the Kaduna – Abuja express way, armed robberies in the south-east and ritual killings in the south-west, all these according to him should be subject of worries to every right thinking Nigerian and not Nigeria to break.

“On our side and leaders, we will do everything within our reach to see that the people of Yoruba extraction in the 19 Northern States and Abuja work harmoniously together and respect one another.

The Yoruba Chairman, therefore implore all the Yoruba’s to support the government in all its program and pray for its success and also for other leaders, who have kept faith in the country unity and doing their best to see it moving forward.
