The aggrieved Kaduna State Aspirants and Stakeholders Forum of All Progressive Congress (APC) has written a warning notice to the National Chairman of the Party, Comrade Adams Oshiomole of rejection of the purported collective decision of the State Executive Council and reiterate their support for direct primaries mode.
The aspirants, who gave the warning during a press conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna Council Secretariat on 25th of September, 2018 through its spokesperson Hassan D. Samdiy contesting for House of Representative Kaduna-North Federal Constituency described the adoption of the indirect primaries mode by the State Chapter as tyrannical and a sham that is targeted at votes buying.
According to them, the mode of the indirect primaries decision adopted by the Party State leadership was not collective, fraud and wanted the party executives dissolved, , saying Governor Nasir El-rufai is a liar.
“Upon receiving the Party’s invitation to the SEC meeting we honored the invitation with the earnest expectation that a robust engagement of the issues would take place and that, at the end of the day, superior reasoning and the interest of the Party would guide the final outcome of the deliberations.
“Unsurprisingly however, and typical of the tyrannical way the affairs of the Party have been conducted in the state since 2015, the only opinion that was allowed expression at the event was that of the state government as presented by the Deputy Governor.
“Thereafter it was widely broadcasted that there was a ‘collective decision’ from the said meeting adopting Indirect Primaries for Kaduna state.
“Your Excellency this claim is false. The decision was not collective. And, what is worse, the process that led to it was anything but consultative” he stressed.
